In recent years, there has been a resurgence of interest in Hyde’s work, driven by retrospectives and family-led initiatives to reintroduce his art to the public. In the context of a recent exhibition, Hyde’s family expressed the hope that “sharing more of his work will enable Jamaicans to gain a deeper appreciation of his role in the country’s art history.”
